As a behavior consultant it is my job to take a look into everything that contributes to behavior of a pets. Taking a deep dive into your pet’s life and asking loads of questions is how behavior consultants make informed decisions and choose the right path for solving your behavioral concerns. If you’re working with someone who is not asking you loads of questions before giving you advice that might be a red flag.

Kim Brophy’s L.E.G.S. model is a great reference for understanding the WHY of behavior. I take each case very seriously and in my experience the best way to achieve long term success is when a program is designed to focus on understanding the whole pet; their learning, environment, genetics, and self. I help you to better understand your pet and all the unique things that go into WHY your pet behaves the way they do. When we understand the why, we are then able to decide how to appropriately address the behaviors of concern.
