Cameras on litter boxes
Do you know what’s going on in the litter box?
You should have cameras on all your litter boxes and here’s why.
Monitoring your cat’s health by keeping track of how often they use the box and the quality and quantity of urine and feces in the litter box is all important information you need in order to keep track of your cat’s health. This is especially important in a multi-cat home.
In a multi-cat home you can’t know what belongs to which cat! This is a problem if you find yourself in a situation where you discover blood, diarrhea, too much urine, or foreign objects like string or plastic in the poop. You’ll be left guessing on who is sick or who may have eaten something (or is eating things) that could cause an obstruction.
If you are having issues with you cat or one of your cats not using the litter box, having cameras on the litter boxes can help you to figure out who is not using the box and potentially why they aren’t using the litter box. Maybe one of your cats is resource guarding the box, maybe your cats are attacking each other in the litter box. Your cat may be giving you clues about why they aren’t using the litter box that you’re missing because you don’t have eyes on them all times. Knowing what’s going on in the litter box is important information to have in order to solve litter box issues.
